Product Information
Product Description
This is an extremely rare and historically significant collector's item from the early period of the LAMY safari series. This fountain pen is proven to originate from the time before German reunification (pre-1990) and features the highly coveted "W. GERMANY" embossing on the barrel.
This model was originally conceived as a crystal-clear Safari/Vista Demonstrator. However, over the decades, the ABS plastic used in the 1980s has developed a unique, warm yellow-transparent patina due to natural aging and oxidation.
This is not a pen designed as "Yellow-Transparent," but an authentic vintage statement of its era, making this particular filler truly unique.
-
Historical Engraving: Clear "W. GERMANY" marking—a guaranteed date indicator placing its production in the 1980s.
-
Unique Patina: The characteristic yellow-transparent discoloration is a natural sign of age and makes every pen a one-of-a-kind item.
-
Design Origin: Belongs to the first generation of the iconic LAMY Safari design.
-
Condition: Pre-owned, vintage condition with age-appropriate patina (the yellowing)—technically inspected and ready to write.
