Product Description

The Justus fountain pen lives up to its name, because thanks to its unique nib, it adapts to the preferences of each individual. The elasticity of the nib can be infinitely adjusted by turning the narrow adjustment ring near the grip zone. If you turn in the direction of the “H” (H = hard), the tongue on the nib is pushed out further, resulting in slightly greater resistance when writing. If you turn the adjustment ring in the other direction (S = soft), the tongue pushes in further and the nib becomes a little more flexible again. This allows the nib to adapt to any writing style!

Regardless of which setting variant is selected, the 14 carat gold nib of the Justus is a nib with a high degree of flexibility, which makes it easy to write even longer texts. It is not only its so-called “flex nib” that makes the Justus a particularly popular writing instrument, this fountain pen also impresses across the board with its appearance. It impresses with timeless elegance and a unique mesh pattern at the same time. The fine, engraved pattern only becomes particularly visible when light falls on it and gives the Justus a sublime effect. The gold trim underlines the unique beauty of this writing instrument!

The Justus is available in fine and medium nib sizes. Thanks to the converter included in the scope of delivery, the fountain pen can be refilled with both the exquisite iroshizuku inks and the high-quality PILOT ink cartridges. A black one is also included in the gift box, so you can start writing straight away!

The Adjustable Writing Experience

Experience the pinnacle of Japanese engineering with the unique adjustable nib system. The Justus—Latin for "the righteous"—lives up to its name by adapting perfectly to your individual writing style.

By simply twisting the tension adjuster at the grip section, you can control the elasticity of the 14K gold nib in real-time:

  • Turn towards "H" (Hard): The support plate slides forward, providing a firmer stroke with consistent resistance—ideal for rapid note-taking and precise detail.
  • Turn towards "S" (Soft): The plate retracts, allowing the nib’s natural flexibility to shine. This creates a springy, "flex-style" feel that responds to every nuance of your hand, perfect for expressive correspondence and ritualistic writing.
Design & Craftsmanship

The Justus is more than a technical marvel; it is a study in balance and quiet power. Its graceful silhouette is enhanced by a unique chased engine-turned pattern on the barrel. This fine, engraved net texture remains subtle at first glance, revealing its intricate depth only as it catches the light.

Complemented by radiant gold-plated accents, the design reflects the "ritual" of writing. Whether you choose the Fine or Medium nib, you are holding an instrument designed for longevity and comfort, capable of shaping your expression to match your mood, signature, and the moment.
