Scribo FLOW Evoluzione Fountain Pen (Limited Edition)

With FLOW Origine and FLOW Evoluzione, the Italian manufacturer SCRIBO presents a new interpretation of its FLOW collection – for the first time made of glossy resin. The project explores a new relationship between material, light and form, while staying true to the identity of the series.

FLOW Evoluzione tells the story of the natural evolution of that first gesture of writing. Its mother-of-pearl green finish shows the resin through ever-changing reflections and shades. Light moves across the surface and reveals new depths each time – just as thoughts continue to evolve through the act of writing.

The polished surface plays with the light as it moves across the twenty-four facets, emphasising their geometry and depth. With every movement of the fountain pen, the reflections change and the surfaces appear in a new light. In the hand, the resin feels smooth, solid and uniform – the natural continuity between hand and writing that has always defined FLOW.

The new material also led SCRIBO to rethink certain design details: the base has been redesigned and lengthened by 2.5 mm, creating an even more harmonious relationship between barrel and cap and a beautifully balanced silhouette.

Cap, barrel, piston knob and nib holder are handmade from resin. The fountain pen is filled via a piston mechanism, and the exclusive SCRIBO 18-carat gold nib is paired with an ebonite feed. Clip and metal components feature ruthenium accents.

Limited to 90 pieces worldwide, each fountain pen is identified by its limited production run and year of manufacture – a subtle detail that makes every piece part of the collection’s history.
