The Bush clover, called «Hagi» in Japanese, has been one of the seven favourite flowers of Autumn since antiquity. It grows naturally in the mountains and decorates the most beautiful Asian gardens of today such as that of Mukôjima Hyakkaen in Tokyo, where no less than ten species are available to our eyes.

It also continues to be a source of inspiration in literature, appreciated for its gentle, wild and unpretentious beauty. More than 100 poems are dedicated to him in the oldest book of Japanese poetry, the «Man’yōshū», dating from the 7th century.

On this limited edition, the shimmering “Hagi” is illuminated by moonlight, delicately treated in silver Maki-e and red lacquer. In the background, the undergrowth takes the form of magnificent traditional fans realized with a grey lacquer and gold powder. Equipped with an 18K gold nib with the effigy of Mount Fuji, this pen will ward off evil spirits, line after line, in 2023. A lucky pen that will ward off evil spirits.

This fountain pen comes with a nice gift box including an ink bottle and has a 18K nib in the nib size M (medium).
