The Emotion Ruby is characterized by its intricate pattern, which runs across almost the entire writing instrument. A special feature here is that the diamond pattern can be seen on both the barrel and the cap. The deep red pattern is achieved through the traditional process of diamond pressing and subsequent multiple lacquering. Another old-school processing technique can be found on the grip sleeve: a thread pattern is guilloched onto the sterling silver. As with the other writing instruments from the BOSSERT&ERHARD brand, the Emotion Black features the brand-typical lettering on the cap ring. As a special additional detail, the lettering “B&E” can also be found on the front of the clip. The Emotion Ruby is available as a ballpoint pen as well as a rollerball and fountain pen with a rhodium-plated 18-carat gold nib.
