The JR models are inspired by the classic 1940's Esterbrook silhouette but updated for modern tastes. Meant to be used and tucked into a shirt pocket, the JR is an everyday pen with some character and a great balance when posted. The acrylic blends, for instance, holds a lot of personality, seamlessly blending complementary tonal hues to give it a bit of life with every turn of the pen. Housing a Jowo nib in EF to Stub 1.1, this is a pen for any writer at any time. What's more, the JR is a cartridge/converter-style pen, making it that much easier to create a masterpiece in whatever ink you choose.
But what's really exciting about this pen lay in the small details. We think of Key Lime and Purple Passion as sisters, a set that's complementary to one another. On top of the Key Lime pen, you will find a gold finial encircled in purple. On the Purple Passion, you'll find the same, but in a lime green. This little bit of contrast highlights the overall appeal and is again an homage to Key West, where nothing is as it seems and adventures are just waiting to be uncovered.
