Pelikan Souverän® M600 Fountain Pen 14K gold nib

Worldwide, appreciated and loved since decades. The design of the Souverän is unique, and every fine, connected pinstripe on the material shines in individual appearance. The production of the Souverän sleeve is subject to an elaborate process. The typical, striped material is made of cellulose-acetate based on a formula developed specially for Pelikan. It takes months until the block providing the stripes is finished, whereupon the tailor-made plating is curved and cut into a contour using a natural diamond.
The gold-plated rings are integrated so delicately, that the transitions between the materials is almost seamless. The crown is the famous beak-like clip. Every Souverän 600 fine writing instrument was crafted with the highest precision, mounted by hand and finally carefully checked. The fountain with piston mechanism is equipped with a smooth 14-carat/585 gold nib with rhodium decor. The writing qualities of every gold-nib were tested by hand before it comes to you. Quality, made in Germany.
