Toledo® M 900 & M 700
The art of damascening is thousands of years old. It is used to decorate steel or iron objects and to refine the surface with precious metals. Pelikan adopted this technique for the Toledo model. Today, the decorative sleeve is made of one piece 925 Sterling Silver. It is treated carefully in various different steps until the motif is covered with a layer of gold. Every Toledo writing instrument is a unique piece manufactured in Germany. The tiny engravings in the motif are made by hand, making each fountain pen a great masterpiece in itself and small piece of history.
