Pilot Parallel Pen Turquoise Calligraphy Nib 4.5 mm

The Parallel Pen, a calligraphy pen for beginners and professionals!

Beautiful writing is currently very much in vogue. The Parallel Pen is perfect for creating beautifully curved lettering with small flourishes and embellishments, as it impresses with its versatility for both beginners and professionals. The trick is the special nib! It consists of two parallel stainless steel plates that are precisely cut with a laser. The Parallel Pen is now available in six different line widths – from 1.5 mm to 6.0 mm! New additions are the 3.0 and 4.5 mm line widths. The line width can be identified by the color of the cap. But even with a single calligraphy pen, it is possible to draw lines of varying thickness. You can choose whether you want to write with the broad surface or draw a narrow line with the edge of the pen tip.

The Parallel Pen is supplied in a standard set together with an accessory set consisting of a plastic plate for cleaning the nib, a cleaning converter, and two Parallel Pen cartridges in black and red. Additional colorful replacement cartridges are also available.

There are two ways to achieve creative multi-color effects:

1. Fill two different Parallel Pens with different colors and hold the tips together. This will transfer some ink from one tip to the other. Now you can start writing and you will get a wonderful color gradient.
   
2. If you only have one Parallel Pen, that's no problem either! Simply open a second ink cartridge and place a few drops on a non-absorbent surface such as glass or plastic. The ink would be absorbed immediately if placed on paper, for example. In the second step, simply hold the tip of the Parallel Pen in the drops and the calligraphy pen will absorb the ink. This will also result in a beautiful color gradient.
